Daoai Wang received his Ph. D. in Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS, under the supervision of Prof Weimin Liu. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as a postdoc in Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics and the University of Tokyo. He is now a professor in Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics supported . His recent research interests include triboelectrification, nanoenergy and marine tribology. He has published more than 60 papers, including Adv.Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Lett., which have been cited for more than 2000 times by SCI citations. He won the Wen Shizhu Maple Prize in 2015, and Gansu Province Natural Science Prize (No. 3) in 2014 and the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award(No. 3) with the project of Controllable Wetting on Surfaces of Engineering Materials in 2016.
