报告人简介:

Jian Song was born in Tianjin/China in 1958. He received a Dipl.-Ing. (M.Sc.) degree in Precision Engineering from the Technical University Braunschweig, and a Dr.-Ing. (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kassel in 1985 and 1990 respectively. He was head of a research group at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg from 1990 to 1993 and R&D Manager with firms in the electrical, electronic and automotive industry from 1993 to 2003.Since 2003, he has been a Professor and Head of the Precision Engineering Laboratory at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in Lemgo, Germany.

Jian Song received The Research Reward of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in 2010. He is Chairman of the Committee for Optical and Electronic Interconnection of VDE/VDI-GMM  (Microelectronics, Mechatronics and Precision Engineering Society of the German Association of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and the German Association of Engineers). He is reviewer of German Research Foundation (DFG), Industrial Research Foundation and Journal of Plastics Technology. He is also reviewer of Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad (German region). He is author, co-author, editor and co-editor of five books and author of more than sixty papers.He is also inventor of six patents.

Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences(东威斯特法伦-利普应用技术大学), founded in 1971, has 6000 undergraduate and research students in the nine departments. employs some 800 people. The Precision Engineering Laboratory, which is a key research laboratory of the university, conducts research and education in design methodology, manufacture and measurement technologies in different areas of precision engineering. The key aspects of the activity are plating materials of mechatronics and electrical contacts and design of high performance connectors.
