Letter of Invitation to Conference on Chemistry and Development of Plant Resources of Chinese Academy of Sciences

Dear Prof.,
The conference of Chinese Academy of Sciences with a theme of Chemistry and Development of Plant Resources will be held from August 22 to August 24, 2010 in Lanzhou, China. This is a focused event on phytochemistry, modification and synthesis, analysis and development of the chemical moleculars from natural plant resources. It aims to stimulate interactions among academia and researchers in this field to exchange up-to-the-minutes information and promote their novel technologies. On behalf of the organizing committee of the conference, we cordially invite you as a speaker at this conference to present and contribute your invaluable experience.
Scope
This conference is expected to greatly contribute to the promotion of new concepts for the chemistry and the practical applications of plant resources. The topics will reflect this general theme, placing emphasis on aspects that are common to all areas of phytochemistry, chemical modification and synthesis, new strategies and technologies for the seperation and analysis, and functions and development of the chemical moleculars from plant resources. The relative and advancing approaches in biology on plants and medicines are also included in the topics.
Scientific Program
The scientific program will consist of plenary and keynote lectures, approximately 20 minutes for each speaker.
Abstracts of the lectures and posters will be printed in the Conference Proceedings. Send the abstracts to the conference organiser before August 15, 2010 via email address bqin@licp.cas.cn or shiyp@licp.cas.cn.
The expenses for the registration, food and accommodation are free to the specially invited participants.
Location
Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province, locates in the north-west of People's Republic of China. The conference will be held mainly in the academic hall in Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
